Join Rachel from House of Dandelions for an afternoon immersed in the scent of summer, as she shows you how to arrange a gorgeous, seasonal floral display for your home using Yorkshire-grown flowers.

Beginning the afternoon learning about the beautiful, seasonal flowers and foliage we’re going to be working with. 

We'll talk about where they were grown and why Rachel has chosen them.  Giving you a few tips on how to grow some varieties in your own garden too. 

After a demonstration, you will each get to make your own full and frothy bouquet arrangement using a stunning selection of blooms and greenery.

Throughout the workshop Rachel will be giving you lots of tips and advice on choosing and caring your flowers, and how to keep them looking fresh for as long as possible. 

You will go home with all your flowers, knowing how to create a gorgeous, seasonal bouquet. 

All other materials and tools you need to create your design will be provided for you.

The event will take place in the Piggery Barn, where there will be hot and cold drinks plus homemade cake for all our guests. 

Rachel trained and worked for six years as a wedding and events florist and floral stylist in London, before moving back to her hometown of York eight months

ago. Creating wedding flowers at iconic London venues including Kew Gardens, the Barbican and the Peckham Asylum Chapel. Rachel has collaborated with British brand such as Pluck Kitchens, Radley London and Hush, and her work has been featured in magazines and wedding blogs including 91 Magazine, House Beautiful, Confetti and Rock My Wedding. 

The masterclass will take place on Sunday 9th July from 1pm and will last approximately two hours. It is suitable for beginners.

The refreshments at White Syke Fields workshops are provided by Apple Charlotte - wedding cake baker extraordinaire.
