About the event
Saturday 16 December - choose from two time sessions 9.30am - 11am or 11.30am - 1pm.
No experience is required, just lots of creativity and imagination! Our professional instructors will walk you through each step of the creative process, ensuring you’re having fun, being safe, and learning a new skill.
Classes are designed for both kids and adults to enjoy and we guarantee that even our more experienced hands will find plenty to do as they create their unique work of art.
These extended sessions are 1 hour and 30 mins long!
The session will be broken into 2 parts with a 10 minute break in the middle to give you some breathing space and time for refreshments.
In the first half of the session, we will cover basic principles of spray paint. Teaching you: can control, how to layer stencils, drop shadowing and many more techniques. This will be done on A3 card - meaning you get to walk away with a festive mini mural.
In the 10 minute break, refreshments will be available for both children and parents (refreshments are not included in the price of the ticket and are to be purchased separately).
In the second half of the session, we will be helping you create your very own urban Christmas decoration. There will be a variety of Christmas shapes such as: stars, snowflakes, christmas trees, etc... and a huge selection of colours!
We cant wait to help you let your creativity run wild this christmas!
The Boring Bits…
Full PPE will be provided including gloves, gown, mask and goggles, as well as a safety brief.
Parents are welcome to accompany their kids without purchasing a ticket (they will not have their own canvas set up to paint) but are also encouraged to purchase a ticket and participate in the workshop alongside their child!
All participants must be aged 7 or older to sign up for this workshop.
Although younger children are often good at following instructions, this is a strict policy due to the fact that small fingers typically struggle when operating spray cans, compromising user safety.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask questions, and we’ll make sure we find the right class for you! chloe.aopprojects@gmail.com
